IL NOSTROSTORIA
La storia del Gruppo Manisha ci riporta indietro al 1983, agli umili inizi di un giovane ragazzo con una mentalità imprenditoriale che avvia la sua prima attività (acquistando noci di cocco da piccoli orti domestici e) vendendo noci di cocco a venditori locali dal retro della sua bicicletta .
BOWATTE
Situated in the Kurunegala district of the coconut triangle bordering Bingiriya and Kuliyapitiya with the fibre baling capacity of 1200 MT per month. This location also serves as the operation centre for logistics and port deliveries.
The substrate facility has the production capacity of over 300 MT of grow bags of mixed sizes and composition ratios.
THE VALUE ADDED UNITS
The following facility which were ear marked for commencement of production last year had to be postponed due to the pandemic situation and the new schedule are as follows.
KUMBUKGATE
Situated in the kurunegala district bordering kumbukwewa and Hiripitiya has the fibre bailing capacity of over 500MT per month and FMT production facility as well.
The new substrate factory shall consist of 25kg wet peat baling , 5 kg block and the 650g briquette line.
BOTHALEGAMA
Situated in the Dankotuwa region is a co processing facility with a capacity of over 200 MT bales fibre per month.
MANGALAELIYA
Situated in the putlam district of the north western province with the fibre baling capacity of over 1000 MT per month and automated FMT ( fehrer machine twisted ) production facility which caters to the European rope diameter and tether standards.
VAUNIYA
Situated in northern peninsula the co processing facility of fibre and the substrate has catered to the need of the northern extraction millers with a capacity of over 200 MT of baled fibre per month.
KATANA (MARADAGAHAMULLA)
In operation by September 2021. The 2 Tie facility with colouring , waxing and combing shall be in operation very soon.
MANKULAM (MALLAVI)
In operation by October 2021. The fully integrated value added manufacturing facility with an investment of over 100mn.
ERAVUR (BATTICALO)
In operation by September 2021. Collection of coconut for he northern oil mills, extraction of fibre/peat and washing of peat for value addition
